Sprecher: Juan Ceballos

Vulnerabilities at the application level represent a significant and unresolved risk to organisations. Concerns over software security have become a top priority for the developer, while it is recognised that established quality assurance controls do not adequately address the need. It is now apparent that the optimum way to mitigate these threats is to validate a software development professional’s understanding of best practices in addressing security.

This session reviews key stages of the software development lifecycle and addresses security from concept through maintenance to ensure the protection of corporate data. It also examines how the developer community should possess validated understanding of both the principles and practice of secure software development.
