SET 2010 conference to be held from May 18 to 19, 2010 in Zurich, Switzerland. The SET 2010 conference will be the 7th edition of a successful conference series started in 2004. It will comprise three parallel tracks of presentations with a broad spectrum of software engineering and management topics. Presentation slots will be 45 minutes and should allow enough time for discussions or other ways of interaction with the participants.
SET 2010 is aimed at professionals involved in decisions regarding software development processes, methods, and technologies (e.g. IT managers, project leaders, software architects, etc.). The participants will gain an excellent overview of the state-of-the-art in modern software engineering. The focus is on cutting edge techniques that have also proven to be successful in practical use. This year’s conference focuses on “Increase Productivity in a Global Environment”. The SET program strives for answering the following questions: how does lean and agile development help or hinder increasing productivity in a global environment; what kinds of tools, architectures, and techniques support building distributed systems that are required by these environments; and which designs and languages will enable the production process as well as the productivity of the product itself.
