Some of the most challenging technical problems we face today are associated with producing software-intensive embedded systems, where computer processors control physical, chemical or biological processes or devices.

Some of the most challenging technical problems we face today are associated with producing software-intensive embedded systems, where computer processors control physical, chemical or biological processes or devices. Examples include airplanes and air traffic control systems, automobiles, power grids, and patient monitoring systems. This talk will describe middleware and model-based tools that can specify, analyze, optimize, synthesize, and deploy standards-compliant platforms that meet the needs of software-intensive embedded systems.
