The Software Architecture Alliance, SAA for short, is a modern conference for software architecture. The topic is not assigned to an isolated role, is not regarded as an exact science, and is not dismissed as a theoretical, abstract matter.

Software architecture is real. Every system benefits from it or suffers from it. Almost all roles in IT are directly or indirectly affected by it. The architecture of a software system lives and evolves, has an influence on developer satisfaction, the flexibility of the system, the structuring of a development department and the process models practiced there.
